President Obama has formally stepped up tension with Iran by moving U.S. missles to the Middle East, Reuters reported today. In retalliation to the missles, and the U.S. naval presense in the Medd, Iranian President Ahmadinejad has promised a show of force on February 12th. Even if he doesn't live up to that promise, it's important that we ask ourselves whether this is good policy, to provoke an already ill-tempered nation into what could be a nasty regional conflict? "Just 38% of voters now favor the health care plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. That’s the lowest level of support measured for the plan in nearly two dozen tracking polls conducted since June." (READ MORE)
So, it seems that support for the the administration's efforts to change health care are dwindling, with only 38% of people now supporting the plan. However, it seems as if Congress is planning to continue ramming the bills down our throat as our country sinks deeper into debt. The Libertarian Party opposes large government, in all its forms, and if Libertarians had been in office, health care costs probably would have never went up in the first place. It's time that we throw out the Demopublicrats and vote for real change, and some fiscal sanity.
